This is a very sophisticated piece Howard. I enjoyed finding my way round it. Would it have helped if you had given me some guidelines about what your thoughts were? Not sure!
I should of left a few comments in the email but I was really in my own world that friday. And bizaarely I felt rather drained although I had plenty of sleep.
from the beginning I imagined the mac lid would be opening and closing, the rotation at the end is an idea I had during the shoot, I thought that I may aswell make the closing a bit more interesting.
The only thing I dislike about this is the shortness, but at the same time I think if I shot more ideas and put them together into a movie it would start to become comical. I can imagine something like this used in an advert - because it is so short it could be used at the end to make it more interesting. Though I think as a viewer it is one of those small details you do not register but just accept, but makes up part of the bigger picture.
